JOE BONAMASSA VINTAGE GUITAR CASE
This is an early Authentic Joe Bonamassa relic. It housed Joe’s infamous “Goldie” Gold Sparkle Fender Stratocaster, used in the early days of Joe’s career.
This case, after being lugged around for years by Joe, was retired in 2006 for obvious reasons - broken latches, scuffs and no longer a good source of protection for the Stratocaster. This was also the time when Joe converted to custom made “guitar vaults” that housed multiple guitars for security and ease of transport, eliminating the need to keep track of & haul the many guitars individually.
At the time of its retirement, it was signed & given to Joe’s guitar tech, written on and signed by Joe himself as a memento of that grueling leg of the tour!
“To Dennis – Here’s hoping that this case looks better than we do at the end of this – your friend Joe”
That about summed up the condition the band and crew was in at that point in time from the brutal touring schedule!
A true piece of Bonamassa history. Super rare one of a kind collectable and a Man Cave relic/conversation piece that will surely increase in merit over time.
