Description
This is a historical Lynyrd Skynyrd lot commemorating the last show before the plane crash on October 19th, 1977 at the Greenville Memorial Auditorium in Greenville South Carolina. There is a 4" X 2.5" piece of brick with a descriptive gold plaque that was excavated from the fenced in site in the early 2000's shortly after the building was demolished by controlled explosive demolition in 1997 ( SEE on Utube ) by life long local resident and Skynyrd fan Michael Finnie. Mr. Finnie actually attended the October 19th, 1977 show and recalls the floor shaking during the entire show ( See his ticket stub on top of certificate ). This lot also comes with a 14" X 10" copy of the original seating chart for the facility signed by Artimus Pyle, a certificate of authenticity signed by Mr. Finnie, a personally signed set list from the last show by Artimus Pyle ( See proof of signing photo ), and a " Thumbnail Sketch of Tragedy " plane crash letter of Artimus's recollection of the entire event also personally signed by lead rescuer and plane crash survivor Artimus Pyle ( See proof photos of Artimus signing for me. Note: the winning bidder can copy the listing for proof photos as I DO NOT send out any photos. Free shipping to the winning bidder. See Artimus's new movie " Street Survivors " depicting the final three days before the plan crash- a cult classic!!!!
