This is a handcrafted mosaic German Sheperd made by me. It's made of stain glass, iridescent glass, mirror, glass beads and ceramic pieces.
I just love this sugar skull, it's mainly red and blue in color. When the light hits it, it just shines so pretty. This would make a great gift for that special person that loves German Shepherds! I make all my mosaics from start to finish, here's what I do:
I use 1/4 inch MDF board, I cut out my sugar skull shapes and prep them for applying my glass designs. When it's done I grout it. Once it's dry I paint the side and back with black acrylic paint.
It measures approx11 1/2 x 8  inches. None of my skulls are exactly alike. I sign and date the back of all my sugar skulls. These are made with lots of love. I put many hours in each one. I hope you love them as much as I do.
I ship priority mail with all my mosaics, So they arrive within a few days!!
My sugar skulls are made of mirror and glass so they can be sharp. These are not intended for children for that reason.
They are made for indoor use. All my skulls have a attached wire hanger on the back for easy hanging once it arrives.
