This card was purchased in the Netherlands by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this unusual vintage postcard is an art portrait of a delightful Dutch Shepherd holding an embossed basket of flowers for the little girl standing next to him.  Under the portrait is a message in Dutch that loosely translates to:  "Heartfelt Congratulations".
The back displays a handwritten message and address in Holland.    There is a 1930s postmark.
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard.  There are very few signs of surface wear as shown above and the postcard is still easy to see and appreciate!
