    Description

    Radha Krishna Sharma and Co (of Calcutta) full-size (49") sitar. Marked "RKS 620".
    A "Type 1" sitar, with double toomba (resonating gourds) and full breadth of strings (5 melody, 2 drone, 13 sympathetic). Quality inlay and carving with hand-carved floral tuning pegs. Original bone bridges and tuning beads.
    Currently has original strings on it. Comes with new full set (7+13) of recently-purchased sitar strings and 5 mizrab (wire finger "picks"). New owner will have to string it, though!
    Excellent condition.
    Comes with lower-quality "hard" case in functional condition that is good for local transport (but not as, say, as airline luggage).
