Very Nice Vintage Sign - EXIT - All Metal Construction - USA
Vintage "EXIT" sign measuring 14 1/2" tall by 10" wide x 1" deep including cage bars. There's a lot going on in this sign - backlit design with stamped or punched metal letters mounted on perforated metal sheet installed behind medium gauge bars that aren't just for decoration. I have no history on this item but it appears to be industrial or institutional design.

Please note there is no light fixture included with this listing.
While it appears to be a backlit design to be mounted over a pocket light fixture, it was likely removed from it's location and the remaining components were more or less fixtures attached to the real estate and needed to be left as is.
As such, this listing is limited to the sign fixture only.
Older metal sign with at least one repainting but not a crazy amount of paint build up. Overall good - v
ery good used condition, scratches and dings but no major defects. Please see all pictures for full condition detail.
