    vintage Exit sign
    measures approximately 14 1/2" x 9" and weighs nearly 2 lbs. The
    "Exit"
    glass slat is red, black and white, with the metal portion brown. I am uncertain whether this signage was once a part of a lighted box (with the offered sign being the original "front" of the box). There's a "latch" towards the bottom of the metal frame (on front), which lifts up as it's hinged at the top (hopefully, you can make sense of this from my photos). Not sure if the two screws that are visible are original to the sign. The metal back shows light tarnish, along with a couple of pieces of old tape (can most likely be removed). With that being said, this is a guaranteed

    old Exit sign as I acquired it with two other items that were dated to the 1930's-50's time period. Any additional info. would be most welcome!
